What is Future Architecture?
A Big Question; and perhaps one only answered in time.
I have hope for the future; hope that there is a future, but mainly hope that the future isn't as wasteful and syndicated as the past.
The future i hope for, the one I want is almost impossible to put into words, but there is a few key ideas I hope we all grab onto with both hands and keep.
The future is recycled, changeable and dynamic. All full of potential technologies saving the world. But mostly, I hope, accountable yet optimistic. For me to predict its shape is to limit its potential. However I think it will be robust, resilient, adaptable and forever changing to meet its potential problems before they happen not after.
It is designable, a raw human and machine experience; its colour, function, service. But most importantly; it’s here and now, and we can make it what we want, for the better or worse.
We are the future architecture...
